Lorraine Barros
Lorena Barros is a Chilean-Spanish artist who uses abstract painting as a means of expressing emotions. This has been the vehicle that has allowed her to most express her inner world. Experimenting with colors, volumes, textures, and materials allows her to create worlds unto themselves.
With thirty examples, the nature of color, in harmony with volume, demonstrates his inner world full of ideas, thoughts and emotions that he masterfully translates into color and form.
He currently exhibits in private galleries such as the Álvaro Gómez Gallery and Zeus Dominico. His work was recently presented at the León City Museum and the México Plaza Cultural Center.
The inauguration will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., in the sculpture courtyard of the Iconographic Museum of Don Quixote. Present will be Lorena Barros, artist, and her curator, Álvaro Gómez; Adriana Camarena de Obeso, Director of the Guanajuato State Institute of Culture; José Osvaldo Chávez Rodríguez, Director of Cultural Outreach at the University of Guanajuato; Rodrigo Quiñonez, Coordinator of Museography; and Alejandra Sánchez, Coordinator of Cultural Projects at the MIQ.
